RAY Outdoors is a Utah 501(c)(3) Public Charity dedicated to enhancing the emotional and physical well-being of youth through outdoor recreation and public land beautification.  RAY fosters resilience, teamwork, and environmental stewardship, empowering teens to thrive while preserving natural public land beauty. RAY's vision is a generation of active, confident youth committed to safeguarding public lands for future enjoyment.

Picture a family stepping away from screens, their faces glowing under a mountain sunrise. Mia, the family’s shy teen, finds her voice, rappelling cliffs with her parents, wiping graffiti from natural public lands.

RAY Outdoors, a Utah public charity, sparks this transformation, weaving emotional and physical health into every adventure. Our mission is to empower youth aged 12–18 through six unique programs—Classroom, Excursion, Trailside, Roadside, Blasting, and Prevention—cultivating resilience, teamwork, and a deep love for nature.

Today’s youth face rising mental health challenges, with 40% reporting persistent sadness and 21% considering suicide (YRBS, 2023). RAY counters this crisis by immersing teens in nature, reducing stress by 21% through outdoor recreation, strengthening family bonds for emotional support, and fostering purpose through land beautification, which boosts self-worth by 40%.

From 2025 to 2027, RAY will deliver 680 program activities, engaging up to 10,000 youth, uniting families, healing hearts, and restoring public lands.

JoyFlix Arts & Culture is being developed as a charity organization, and official partner of JoyFlix Studios.  The charity serves disadvantaged communities by helping them capture, curate and preserve digital images of their unique arts, culture and records.  The charity also provides a Virtual Museum Platform that aggregates and exhibits digital images of art collections from artists with localized notoriety, and from private individuals with meaningful art collections.

Farm & Ranch Heritage is being developed as a nonprofit organization dedicated to celebrating and preserving the enduring legacy of farming and ranching through immersive agritourism experiences that blend historical education, hands-on STEM activities, and modern sustainable practices. Modeled after the American West Heritage Center (AWHC) and Curiosity Farms at Thanksgiving Point, it creates an engaging environment that honors the traditions, innovations, and cultural significance of rural life from the pioneer era (1820-1920) to today, inspiring visitors of all ages to appreciate and sustain America's agricultural heritage.

The charity operates interactive heritage sites, working farms, and museums in rural communities, featuring preserved farmlands, historic ranch artifacts, live animal interactions, and high-tech exhibits. Key offerings include:

  • Historical Reenactments and Cultural Events: Drawing from AWHC's model, annual festivals such as Pioneer Heritage Month, Homesteader’s Conference & Fair, Fall Harvest Festival, and Cache Valley-inspired Mountain Man Rendezvous, with activities like storytelling sessions, traditional skills classes (e.g., beading or blacksmithing), and immersive experiences simulating pioneer handcart journeys or wagon rides.  Farm & Ranch Heritage also draws from the Panguitch Quilt Walk Festival featuring quilting shows and classes.

  • Hands-On Agritourism and Animal Encounters: Inspired by both models, visitors can participate in baby animal days, pony rides (for children under certain height/weight limits), goat and pig feeding, cow milking demonstrations, and petting zoos to build compassion and confidence, all in a family-friendly, all-abilities setting.

  • STEM-Focused Educational Programs: Echoing Curiosity Farms' approach, daily discovery sessions like Cow Milking (multiple times daily), Animals Up Close, and Plant Lab for seeding and harvesting in hydroponic gardens; plus exhibits on agricultural technology such as drone pollinators, robot farm hands, GPS-controlled tractors, genetics, breeding, and economics in a Livestock Learning Lab.

  • Seasonal and Year-Round Attractions: Corn mazes, sleigh rides during winter, storytime on the farm for preschoolers, train rides on a Farm Fun Express, and a Play Patch Playground with sensory climbers and slides; alongside Grow Tech Gardens showcasing sustainable hydroponics that supply fresh produce to local partners.

  • Innovation and Sustainability Initiatives: Displays of cutting-edge advancements in agriculture to foster ideas for future farm tech, emphasizing efficient, eco-friendly methods like high-tech containers for greens, veggies, and herbs.

Through partnerships with local farmers, historians, educators, and foundations (similar to AWHC's sponsors and Curiosity Farms' Bill and Pat Child Foundation), Farm & Ranch Heritage promotes agritourism as a bridge between past and present, offering discounted access for underserved families (e.g., via SNAP/WIC programs) and group events for reunions, conferences, or corporate retreats. By boosting economic vitality in rural areas—through job creation, tourism revenue, and community engagement—it inspires future generations to value, innovate, and protect the vital role of farming and ranching in American culture.
